Gile Mountain Farm is located in the scenic town of West Newfield, Maine, surrounded by beautiful views and countryside charm.
2. What is the capacity of the venue?
Our barn can accommodate up to 200 guests, making it perfect for weddings and events of all sizes.
3. What does the rental package include?
Our rental packages are customizable to suit your needs. Standard packages include access to the ceremony site on Gile Mountain, the barn for the reception, built-in bathrooms, a bar, a dance floor, and outdoor areas. Additional services such as catering, bar service, and event coordination can be added.
4. Can we bring in our own vendors?
Yes, we allow outside vendors for catering, photography, and entertainment. However, we also offer a list of preferred local vendors who are familiar with our venue and provide excellent service.
5. Do you offer bar services?
Yes, we provide full bar services with customizable drink packages. We offer both hosted and cash bar options.
6. Is there parking available on-site?
Yes, we have ample parking available on-site for guests, with dedicated spaces for vendors and event staff.
7. Are there accommodations on the property?
While we are planning to expand with cabin rentals in the future, we currently do not have on-site accommodations. However, there are several nearby hotels and bed-and-breakfasts we can recommend.
8. What is the policy in case of inclement weather?
Our barn is fully equipped to host your event indoors in case of bad weather. We will work closely with you to ensure a smooth transition if an outdoor ceremony needs to be moved inside.
9. Can we tour the venue before booking?
Absolutely! We encourage all couples and event planners to schedule a tour of the venue so you can see the space and discuss your needs in person.
10. What is your pricing?
Pricing varies based on the season, day of the week, and the services you choose. Contact us for a personalized quote and package options.
11. Is there a noise or curfew policy?
Yes, due to local regulations, all amplified music must end by 10:00 PM. We ask that all events conclude by 11:00 PM.
12. How do I secure my date?
To secure your date, we require a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit. Dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
13. Do you offer farm-to-table catering options?
Yes! We offer farm-to-table catering options featuring fresh, seasonal produce and livestock grown on our farm and local farms. Contact us to learn more about our catering packages.
